  • What do we have? The knife sharpening kit comes with grit Whetstone 1000 & 3000¥6000 with a beautiful Slip bamboo base for securely holding the Waterstone during the sharpening process.
  • How can we use it? Please always keep the blade against the surface of the sharpening stone at an angle of about 15°-20°, and move it slowly back and forth by pushing it to the edge of the sharpening stone with both hands and pulling it back. The slime generated on sharpening the knife is necessary, so do not rinse it. If the edge feels rough (called “rolled edge”), please grind the back gently twice or three times until the “rolled edge” disappears.
  • How to check sharpness?: With its edge upward, observe the knife in lamp light/sunlight. If its edge is a black line, the knife is successfully sharpened.
